The Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) is a tool to help you plan for the financial well-being of your relative with a disability. Already thousands of families and individuals across the country are setting up the plan, and an estimated 500,000 Canadians will benefit form this plan over time.
A RDSP planning workshop will be your guide to understanding and taking advantage of the plan, so that you can help yourself or your relative with a disability capitalize on the numerous advantages of the RDSP, including the significant federal contributions.
Parents, grandparents and caregivers of children with ASD can come together to share, discuss and laugh. The aim of this meeting is to discuss what topics and/or activities would be of interest to parents.

Being Social at Work

Join us for an interactive workshop in which the following topics will be covered: how to manage an interview, dealing with small talk, connecting with colleagues/peers, managing conflict, common workplace challenges, interacting with people in seniority positions, social work functions, hidden rules, work  accommodations that can help navigate the social and so much more! This workshop is ideal for young adults that relate to Asperger Syndrome/High Functioning Autism and who are currently working or planning on joining the workforce in the near future. 
Sarah Southey is an Employment and Life Skills Coach at The Redpath Centre in Toronto. 
Working one-on-one with clients though a solution focused approach, she offers pre-employment support with the social and life skills necessary in a career. She offers direction to individuals in entry-level and mid-career positions who are facing obstacles to finding and maintaining rewarding employment. Sarah assists individuals who have employment-related anxiety through a cognitive behavioural lens. She supports individuals with anxiety and social issues.
Child care will not be provided
Snacks will be provided.
